Salman Khan's show Bigg Boss 19 suffers legal setback: Notice of damages of Rs 2 crore


Mumbai Salman Khan's show Bigg Boss 19 has been served a notice of Rs 2 crore damages. The copyright licensing firm has alleged that the producers of Bigg Boss 19 did not obtain the necessary public performance licenses before using several Bollywood songs, including Chakni Chameli and Dhat Teri Ki, on the show.

PPL has targeted Endemol Shine India, directors Thomas Gossett, Nicholas Chazarin, and Deepak Dhar in a notice issued on September 19. PPL is not only demanding payment of the license fee but also damages of Rs 20 million.
